Collision happened at I-70 and Bermuda Avenue connector

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 26-year-old female driver was speeding when she cut off a 2022 Peterbilt semi-truck, leading to a rear-end collision that led her to sustain minor wounds Wednesday.

The collision was reported before 7:30 a.m. at the I-70 and Bermuda Avenue connector adjacent to Norwood Hills Country Club. Missouri Highway Patrol said the semi-truck driver unintentionally hit the back of the woman’s 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. Once the vehicles collided, the woman then plowed into a concrete divider. Her car was moderately damaged.

Christian Hospital Northeast Ambulance personnel were quick to take the woman from Stanton, Illinois, to Christian Hospital Northeast. The male truck driver, 67, from Randolph, Wisconsin, was not injured and sustained minor damage to his truck.
