3 adults, boy hurt in crash at Dillon, Hillsboro Valley Park Roads

HIGH RIDGE, MO – Three adults and a 7-year-old boy were injured following a two-vehicle crash caused by a driver who ran a stop sign Friday.

According to Missouri Highway Patrol, a 62-year-old man driving a 2013 Toyota Avalon was the motorist responsible for running the stop sign at the Dillon Road and Hillsboro Valley Park Road intersection and hitting a 2013 Buick Lacrosse.

The Buick driver, a 26-year-old woman, and her two passengers, a 7-year-old boy and a 56-year-old woman, were all left in serious condition.

The Toyota driver was left with moderate injuries.

Law enforcement transported the male driver to SSM Health St. Claire Hospital. High Ridge ambulance crews transported the seriously injured occupants to separate hospitals.

EMS said the boy and the 26-year-old woman were sent to St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the 56-year-old woman to Mercy Hospital South.

Troopers confirmed that the child was the only vehicle occupant to have worn a seatbelt. As it stands, MHP has not mentioned any citations for the male driver or pending criminal charges.
